Performance Background
Drumsticks in hand by age 7, I was already on the path to a unique musical journey.
My wonderful Father, Lew Larson, was a talented singer and guitarist, and I enjoyed playing drums in his band for many years.
By the time I hit age 12, I had my first Gibson ES335-copy guitar and, by Sweet Sixteen, I was singing on stage.
My roots are deep in traditional country with a sweet blend of swing, oldies, bluegrass and blues.
I have had the fortune of playing with many musical greats through the years, and each person along the way has graced me with gifts of their knowledge ranging from guitar lessons to sound management to how to work a crowd. A heartfelt Thanks for your contributions.
The most recent portion of my journey has been performing as a solo vocal/guitar act. I love doing these shows as it provides a more intimate setting to connect the heart of the music to the hearts of the listeners.
