The End Of The World 3:050:00/3:05
SOLO GUITAR AND VOCALS
Welcome To My World...
People often ask "What type of music do you play"?
To my delight, that is not an easy question to answer as my genre is quite eclectic.
Throughout the course of my performance, I will range from soulful ballads such as House of The Rising Sun by The Animals to You Don’t Know Me by Ray Charles …to fun songs from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s .
There will be some crossover country/pop songs that everyone loves to sing along to, such as The Gambler, Margaritaville, Sweet Caroline and Move It On Over.
I will take you on a trip across the decades – from Elvis Presley’s Jailhouse Rock, to Little Anthony and the Imperials’ Tears On My Pillow to Patsy Cline’s Crazy and Blue Moon Of Kentucky to Anne Murray’s Love Song, mixed in with Willie Nelson’s Blue Eyes Crying In the Rain. Then, just when you think you've got me figured out I will turn the tides and sing a Gershwin tune... Summertime from the folk opera, Porgy and Bess.
Mixed in will be some instrumentals including Sleepwalk by Santo and Johnny or Norwegian Wood by The Beatles.
I play the songs everyone knows and loves. My wonderfully talented fans chime in to You Are My Sunshine, Show Me The Way To Go Home and Goodnight Irene.
My greatest pleasure is watching the audience smile and sing along.
